Interfaith Arts and Crafts Event

On October 24th, we held our first “Interfaith Arts and Crafts” event run by the members of the Friends Across the Ages Interfaith Coalition. Over 20 nursing home residents participated in the event, and almost as many volunteers were on hand. Volunteers helped the residents create a wooden craft to be hung on their door or given to a friend, family member, or staff member.

The volunteers for this event represented at least seven different churches and faith backgrounds, making it truly an interfaith experience.
