NURSING HOME NEWS ~ AUGUST 2010

Be on the LOOK OUT for our next newsletter!

We are preparing to send out our next newsletter in the upcoming week or two. Be on the look out! Please notify us of any address changes if you would like to receive a copy. This issue will feature an overview of our recent Spring Festival events, special acknowledgments of current and new volunteers, a Resident Spotlight story, and more!

UPCOMING EVENTS AT

NURSING HOMES

Thursday, August 12th, 1:30 PM - Casino Time at Parklands -- A monthly event at Parklands Nursing and Rehab – By popular demand, Steve visits Parklands to deal blackjack and poker for the residents (who play for prizes).  He can always use some extra dealers, so let us know if you’d like to come join the fun!

Thursday, August 26th, 2:30 PM - Birthday Celebration -- Help us wish a happy birthday to all residents of Parklands Nursing and Rehab with birthdays in August. Meet us in the dining room where we will have singing and cake. Volunteers are needed to help gather the residents together, serve the cake, sing, clean up, etc.  Do you play an instrument or have some other talent?  We are always looking for new entertainment for the party – let us know!
